Introduction to the advantages of magnetic separation technology

Magnetic coagulation technology is a combination of coagulation technology and magnetic separation technology, which innovatively improves the traditional coagulation, sedimentation, and filtration processes. It utilizes recyclable modified magnetic seeds to enhance flocculation reactions and achieve high-speed sedimentation in sewage treatment processes. Compared with other processes, magnetic separation technology has the following advantages:

(1) The BFMS process can be applied to primary, tertiary, reclaimed water, industrial wastewater, and drinking water in urban areas.

(2) The treatment effect is good, and the effluent quality is comparable to that of ultrafiltration membrane effluent. The BFMS process can effectively remove particulate pollutants, microbial pollutants, and some pollutants that have been dissolved in water, such as COD, BOD, suspended solids, total phosphorus, chromaticity, turbidity, etc., especially for phosphorus, it has a strong removal effect. It can also be combined with biological processes to efficiently and economically remove nitrogen.

(3) Strong shock load resistance and unique shock resistance to water quality impact. When there is a malfunction in the current process or other harmful metal ions enter the sewage treatment system, the sewage can directly enter the magnetic separation system, and the system can still maintain a high removal efficiency, greatly removing pollutants from the water.

(4) The land occupation is extremely small, with a BFMS system of 10000 tons per day occupying approximately 300m2.

(5) Low investment, with significant advantages over membrane treatment.

(6) Low operating costs, long service life of equipment, and no need to replace parts, resulting in high secondary investment, in addition to normal maintenance.

(7) Easy operation management, quick startup, and simple operation management.
